This castle is called Gifu Castle. This custle was built in Gifu prefecture in 1201. Anyway, this picture is cool, isn't it?

Interview

Last week, I met tourist and interview with him about Japanese castle in a bar in Nagoya.

-Where are you from?

Speaker:I'm from Canada. Best country ever,deal with it!

-Have you ever visited a Japanese castle?

Speaker:Yeah!! Of course!! It was fucking awesome! There were samurai!!!

-Ha ha ha!!! I see. How was it?

Speaker:Uh, already told you, it was awsome.

-Are there differences between Japanese castles and your country's historical architecture?

Speaker:Dude, of course! Canada's traditional architecture is old school European, Japan has its own flavor!

-Ok. Thank you. Nice talking with you.

Speaker:yeah, you too.

Okazaki Castle

This castle is in Okazaki, Aichi prefecture, and Inside of it is museum. Also there are many tourist attraction except castle. You can visit factory of Miso(Japanese seasoning made from soy), and see clook has contraption in the garden of this castle.

Osaka Castle

This castle is populer tourist attraction in Osaka prefecture. It was in 1583. The lord of this castle is Hideyosi Toyotomi(He was the first conqueror of Japan).

Himeji Castle

Himaji Castle

It is located in Himeji city in Hyougo prefecture. it was built in the middle age by Mr. Akamatsu. When the WW2 broke out, it was attacked by America. But a bomb did not blow up so the castle did not break. It was designated to UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1993.

Iwasaki castle

Hi. This is Iwasaki castle in Aichi prefecture. It is very close to my university, and it take about 15 minutes by foot. This castle is really small, but I think you feel something from it. Also, next to it, there is a reference library.

Matumoto castle

This castle is Matumoto castle in Nagano prefecture. It was built in 1504. This black castle called "Karas". Kras means crow in Japanese.

This is picture of Inuyam castle. It was built in 1469. This castle is national trasure.
